Repurpose Broken Chest Of Drawers

A partially busted dresser can be repurposed by removing any broken or wobbly drawers and adding open shelves in their place.

Chest of drawers in process i sanded outside each door front and drawer front to remove the existing finish using my dewalt orbital sander with 120 grit sandpaper. Voilà a simple transformation that lets you store towels kitchen. Solid wood purple and white blended sideboard chest of drawers hand painted in royal purple and crystal white chalk paint by vintro which has been blended with three shades of purple and white on the drawer fronts and top. I followed up with 220 grit to achieve a smooth finish.

You just use the fronts of those old drawers complete with the pull knobs and you have wonderful hangers that will keep jackets backpacks and other stuff off the floor or counter. The original handles have been sprayed black and put back on the sideboard. Since you re only using the front of the drawer you re free to use the rest of it on one of the other projects in the collection.
