Rim world roof remover.
Rock roof mod is a simple mod just to patch core.
I provides a method to visually change between constructed thin rock overhead mountain or no roof on any of the map tiles in your game.
The no roof area allows the player to designate an area which will not be covered by thin roofing once a surrounding wall is constructed.

Too remove all of the dirt and stone above you in a cave would require some fairly illegitimate means.
I think the second approach will let you force a colonists to remove a roof section but i don t think it will generate any tasks to do so automatically.
This works for any map size.
A roof will collapse if the last supporting wall or rock is removed whether by mining deconstruction or destruction.
Roof collapses cause injuries to colonists and damage items.
If it s an overhead mountain collapsing colonists will be buried alive.
How to remove thick roofs overhead mountain use the regular remove roof area option found in the architect zone area menu to draw an orange area above the roof you want to remove.
The notation of the mod name is 1 2 but compatibility with 1 0 and 1 1 is maintained.
If you remove the roof of overhead mountain it is the same as when removing the roof of rock roof thin.
Colonists will be able to remove overhead mountain.
How to remove the roof when expend no roof area isn t working everytime i mine the roof collapse again last edited by oma.
So i try to remove the mountain roofs so they don t collapse by declareing a no roof area but on some tiles it will never be possible to declare that area and if i let the roof collapse and remove the debris it just collapses again presumably forever since i tried removing it 15 times and it still collapsed.
This mod supports multi versions of 1 0 to 1 2.
